Summer fun in NE

Boys will be boys, Cooper was playing and fell into a mud puddle

Some think this is a skate park but it also doubles at a great playground

Cooper loved the frog

and the bridge

the tricycle was a hit even though he wasn't tall enough to use the pedals
Cooper was splashing in the birdbath

Omaha Zoo

We were in Nebraska last weekend for a wedding and spent some time at the Omaha's Zoo. It was really hot and humid that day and the animals did not want to perform.

We were not even out of the parking lot before Cooper fell asleep. I would say that he had a good time.

Update on Coopers surgery

Coopers surgery went well. He recovered really well. It was really hot here(90 degrees, plus) during the few days after his surgery so we decided to get an window air conditioner, this way he didn't have to come home from surgery to an extremely hot house. I don't know who enjoyed it more, Cooper or daddy!

Surgery again......

After 4 months of ear tubes and still no change in his constant ear infections, our ENT has decided that Cooper will need his adenoids out. So, we will be going in on Thursday for this procedure. The doctor will also be replacing Cooper's current ear tubes with new ones. There is nothing wrong with his tubes but they have been in for 4 months and are in the "time period" of falling out. So, to take advantage of the anesthesia he will be taking out the adenoids and replacing the ear tubes. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will "do the trick" and we won't have to worry about ear infections again!

Busy boy

At 15 months we have our hands full with this one! He is a typical toddler but with "super hero" powers. Nothing phases Cooper, he can fall from anywhere, off of anything, and jump up and shake it off. He learned how to climb the ladder this afternoon. He just watched daddy climb up it and off he went.
Just one leg up

then the other leg.....wait are you documenting this? I can't go any futher.

Because I love getting my photo taken. Let me get closer.

Helping with the Laundry

I was doing laundry this morning and Cooper thought that he would help. Well, what he meant was that he would entertain himself why I tried to do the laundry!

Once he got in the basket he realized that it was pretty comfortable and it was in prime view of the TV

Cooper's view

I've had enough....I'm outta here.

BIG BOY

You know before I had Cooper I always thought that it was weird when people were all "hung up" on their child's stats. WELL Cooper had his 15 month checkup yesterday and here are his stats! :-) Weight 27 lbs (75-90%) Height 33 3/4" (greater than 97%) and Head size 49 1/2 (97%). Even the Doctor mentioned that he was a "BIG boy."

Harley MEN!

Dad says that it is never too early to ride a bike. Mom says that a Harley won't be his first bike!!!

Dad is babysitting

It was bachelor afternoon with Dustin and Cooper. I come home to find only the evidence on the camera.....which is pretty compelling evidence. The story is was that Dustin was taking items out of the storage above the garage and Cooper wanted to help. Oh Yeah, and Dustin picked out the outfit!

Chuck E Cheese's

We went to Chuck E Cheese's with some friends last weekend. WOW, talk about a little overwhelming. Cooper enjoyed himself and we caught a few photos. Some of the little kid rides were not extreme enough for him and you can see it on his face!

Cooper riding the horse.

This was pretty much his face on majority of the rides.

Seattle Aquarium

Cooper and Mommy touching the starfish.

Cooper is an octopus

Cooper loved the "circle of life"....they are jellyfish

Cooper and Daddy touching other sea life

Cooper thought it was his bath until he felt how cold the water was!

Cooper's new coupe

Coooper loves "driving"

He couldn't wait until his car was assembled. He was playing in it while Dustin put it together.

Cooper's second 1st birthday

We were in Colorado last weekend and had another birthday party for Cooper. Gosh, if this is his 1st b-day, what have we done to ourselves to keep up with this!? He really enjoyed himself this time around since he knew what to expect.

Hey girls, i can open my own presents!

Washing off after the cake. Why are you in my bath?

I don't know which one I should eat first.

Mom, I like Elmo......why would I eat him?

OK, Elmo is pretty darn good and now you understand why I needed the bath!

Cooper's one year stats

The Donahoo and Johnson genes are definitely prominent in this child. Head size at 48 1/4 cm puts him at above 95% (thanks dad!), Height at 32 1//2 inches is again another above 95% (thanks mom - Finally somthing that is mom's!) and weight 24lbs and 6 oz. is 50-75% (another one for mom!).

A Real Donahoo

I have been out of town, on work, on and off the last few weeks. So Cooper and Dad have been "bacheloring" it. Dustin eats spinach noodles and eggs occasionally when I am gone because I refuse to eat it. Cooper got his first taste of them last week and loved it. He is definatley a Donahoo!

This is his "touchdown" pose!

What am I eating?

Cooper's first b-day party

We were back in NE a few weeks ago and were able to have a 1st birthday party for Cooper with the Donahoo family. It was a busy day and Cooper was unable to have a nap. Half way thru the party, he decided that he didn't want his clothes on. He was extremely crabby so he got his wish. I guess this is as close to "birthday suit" as he came!

Cooper wasn't too sure who all these people were and why they were taking pictures of him!

Cooper got Tonka cars and he absolutely loves them.

This is a firetruck(which is really annoying) that we gave to his cousin Tristan and I guess what goes around comes around. It is on it's way to our house!

Showing cousin Ashlynn how to play with this toy. He decided that he was getting cold in his "birthday suit" and agreed to put his clothes back on.

His birthday cake. He didn't eat any of it, he didn't like it. He is not much of a "sweets" eater, I have no idea where he got that!

Going home to Seattle. He loves getting his own seat.
