Cooper's blackmail photos

Cooper had a "blow-out" at daycare today and we didn't pack any spare clothes. When that happens you get the clothes that fit you.....lucky him, the only clothes were a tshirt (size 3T) and pink (yep, that's right, pink) nike pants. The color didn't really turn out, but they are pepto bismol color with silver shiny stripe down the side. Daddy said that he was going to stop by the store on his way home and buy a truck load of pants to ensure that he would never run out of "boy" pants!

Dad wanted to make sure that we got a photo of him not looking excited about his pants!

This was actually the first photo taken, when Cooper was excited! The top photo came later.

Cooper loves to "help" daddy. He even figured out how to use his very own Bosch drill. It actually is exactly like Dustin's.

D.B. General Open House

The district of Kiewit that Dustin and I work for, General Construction, had an open house on one of their floating cranes (called the D.B. General...."D.B" stands for derrick barge). This crane is the largest floating crane on the West Coast and to put it in perspective....the crane has a lift capacity of 700 tons and the barge that it sits on is the size of a football field . This crane will be "working" at the Hood Canal Floating Bridge site during the bridge closure (Dustin's job), so Dustin will see it alot! Also, the flag that is attached to the crane is 30 feet by 50 feet. We headed to Seattle, for the homecoming/open house and have attached a few photos.

No stroller for Cooper.....he had to be contained to a backpack and doesn't look to happy about it.

On the hour long ferry trip, he spent his time practicing to drive.

Really, I am not getting into trouble. We see this look a lot!

Here it is! Pretty cool, at least to us construction nerds! :-)

Cooper's 1st Birthday

I can't believe that Cooper is already one year old(1/21/08)! We have officially begun the toddler stage.....which is AWESOME, if you catch my sarcasim. We are going to dinner at Red Robin, tonight. His favorite place since there is so many colors and they clap and sing to you when it is your b-day! He loves to clap so tonight will be fun!

Childrens Museum

We went to the Childrens Museum this last Saturday and Cooper loved it.

I love the beaded maze.

and crawling thru tunnels

I can climb in and out of this "bathtub" by myself!

So much to do....where do I start!

He loved the "splashing creek" Note to self.....next time bring extra clothes!

Cooper's first surgery

Cooper had ear tubes put in today. After a rough recovery, vomiting 3 times and sleeping off the medicine, he is back to his playful self. We are pushing fluids and praying for a good night. Dustin left for Omaha this afternoon for a week and will return on Saturday! Only 5 more days until daddy gets home! :-)

Zoolights

This is the twin Tacoma Narrows Bridge! It was pretty cool and the photo doesn't do it justice.
Cooper thought that it was pretty funny when Dustin was blowing on his hands to warm them up.
